The role
We are seeking a proactive Packaging Operator to work as part of a fast-paced production team. You will develop your skills in machinery operation, troubleshooting, and working with systems such as SAP and labelling platforms. Working closely with colleagues and team leaders, you will help ensure processes are followed accurately and efficiently. Salary – £27,976 per annum, inclusive of shift allowance
What you'll do
- Operate shrink wrapping and packaging machinery safely and efficiently, ensuring products are packed to defined quality and accuracy standards.
- Maintain workflow within the packaging area by responding to operational priorities and supporting team performance.
- Identify and resolve basic equipment issues or elevate appropriately to minimise downtime and disruption.
- Ensure all labelling, documentation, and system entries (e.g. QS, SAP) are completed accurately to maintain stock integrity and traceability.
- Follow all safety procedures, complete pre-use checks, and maintain high housekeeping standards across equipment and work areas.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and adapt to changing priorities, supporting training and continuous team effectiveness where required.
