We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering Team. In this hands‑on role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our machinery and equipment run safely, reliably, and efficiently; helping us maintain the high standards our customers expect. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment where no two days are the same. You’ll play a key role in planned maintenance, breakdown response, and continuous improvement activities, contributing to the smooth operation of our production line.

What you'll do:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on a range of machinery and equipment.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns, minimising downtime.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Work collaboratively with the production and engineering teams to ensure machinery is operating at peak performance.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement projects and machine upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and support compliance with health and safety standards.

What you'll need:

  • Ability to work a Panama shift pattern – 2‑week rotation of days and nights, 2‑2‑3 cycle.
  • A recognised qualification in Engineering (mechanical or electrical).
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role.
  • Strong fault‑finding skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • A proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work shifts and support occasional out‑of‑hours maintenance if required.
