We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering Team. In this hands‑on role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our machinery and equipment run safely, reliably, and efficiently; helping us maintain the high standards our customers expect. What you'll do:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on a range of machinery and equipment.
- Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns, minimising downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Work collaboratively with the production and engineering teams to ensure machinery is operating at peak performance.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement projects and machine upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and support compliance with health and safety standards.
What you'll need:
- Ability to work a Panama shift pattern – 2‑week rotation of days and nights, 2‑2‑3 cycle.
- A recognised qualification in Engineering (mechanical or electrical).
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role.
- Strong fault‑finding skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- A proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts and support occasional out‑of‑hours maintenance if required.
