Vehicle Technician – HGV/LGV

- Full time, with an alternating two-shift pattern
- Permanent position
- £40,500 – £44,000 per annum

Serving local businesses and national fleets, we operate as a fully independent HGV/LGV servicing and repair centre. Our services include full diagnostics, brake testing, and VOSA-approved tachograph facilities for all makes of vehicles. As a family-run business, we prioritise our team\’s growth and satisfaction.
The Role
As a Vehicle Technician HGV/LGV , you\’ll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and reliability of a wide range of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly examine all vehicles to assess safety and serviceability
- Diagnose faults and carry out permanent, high-quality repairs
- Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on all makes and types of vehicles
- Complete service documentation to a high standard
- Report on vehicle condition and recommend necessary repairs
- Out-of-hours on-call work may be available

The Ideal Candidate
We\’re looking for a skilled and dedicated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. About you:
- At least three years of motor vehicle workshop experience
- NVQ Level 3 qualification or relevant demonstrated experience
- A full UK driving licence (essential)
- An HGV license (highly advantageous)
