This is an exciting opportunity for a creative professional with strong design, video, photography, and digital content skills to help bring our campaigns, stories and charitable work to life. You will work collaboratively across the organisation to create compelling content that supports fundraising, campaigns, events, commercial activity and wider organisational communications.
As Creative Content Manager, you will develop and deliver creative content for digital and print channels, ensuring all work is accessible, engaging and aligned with the Vegetarian Society’s brand, tone of voice and strategic objectives.
- Develop creative concepts and visual ideas for campaigns, appeals and organisational communications.
- Design marketing materials including social media graphics, posters, flyers, leaflets, brochures, digital adverts, infographics, email graphics and presentation assets.
- Plan, film and edit promotional, storytelling and social media video content.
- Photograph events, cookery classes and charitable activities, and maintain an organised image library.
- Manage and update website content using WordPress, including creating new pages, uploading articles and optimising content for accessibility, user experience and SEO.
- Create digital assets for social media and email marketing, repurposing content across multiple channels.
- Act as a guardian of the charity’s visual identity, supporting the development of brand guidelines, templates and design assets.
- Manage multiple creative projects, prioritise workloads and liaise with external suppliers where needed.
We are looking for someone with a strong creative portfolio and demonstrable experience producing high-quality content across multiple platforms. You will be confident using design and video editing software, with excellent graphic design skills and the ability to create engaging, on‑brand content for a range of audiences. You will bring strong planning, communication and project management skills, along with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation. Experience with photography, video production, marketing materials and social media platforms is essential, while experience with WordPress, digital marketing trends and the charity or not‑for‑profit sector would be an advantage.
- A creative thinker with strong design, video, photography and digital content skills.
- A confident collaborator who can work with colleagues across teams to bring ideas to life.
- Someone who can manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high standards.
- A detail-focused communicator with good proofreading and interpersonal skills.
- A person who understands and supports the Vegetarian Society’s vision, aims and values.
- Someone willing to travel when required.
This is an opportunity to play an active role in a mission‑led charity, helping to inspire more people to explore and enjoy vegetarian food. You’ll join a supportive team where your ideas, creativity and design skills can make a real difference. The Vegetarian Society offers a range of employment benefits, including hybrid and remote working opportunities, flexible working hours, a healthcare cashback scheme, generous leave allowance, cycle to work scheme, sustainable travel policy, animal compassionate leave policy and an ethical pension scheme. We are committed to putting equity, diversity and inclusion at the heart of everything we do and we actively encourage applications from all backgrounds and communities.
