About Vega:
Vega is unlocking scale for alternative asset managers. Private markets are shaping into one of the most influential forces in the global economy over the coming decades, with more than $20 trillion in AuM today and expected to already triple by 2032. Today, the industry is at an inflection point as it enters an era of hypergrowth, increased complexity, and brand-new demands. To competitively service and scale their client base across the entire investment lifecycle, managers need a technological transformation. Vega is delivering the industry's purpose-built infrastructure with AltOS – the AI-powered client & distribution operating system for alternatives.
Vega's founding team consists of alternatives specialists from KKR, Blackstone, Elliott, and Goldman Sachs, along with top product and engineering talent from successful fintech scale-ups like Revolut and Trade Republic. Vega has raised over $28M in funding from Apollo, Motive Ventures, Picus Capital, and 60 senior executives from the alternative investment industry.
The role:
This role has been designed for high-performing generalists, and likely future founders, to get exposure to both building products and the business around it. Some candidates may spike on one side more than the other – and eventually, perhaps even align entirely to only one. The programme is rotational across Product & Growth topics, with sufficient flexibility for candidates to find out where their preference lies and eventually focus where they are best fit.
You can expect to:
- Own an area of the product, from developing the vision, co-designing with clients, to managing a squad of engineers to build and deliver at the intersection of AI and private markets infrastructure
- Drive the end-to-end GTM process with the CEO Office, all the way from relationship-building to closing the deal
- Work across special projects, operations, investor relations, and wider growth topics (e.g., opening a New York office, building out new bets from scratch, developing Vega's brand and industry relationships through events)
Requirements:
- 1 to 4 years' experience in MBB or top-tier IB/PE firm
- Self-starter with proven track record of excellence
- High agency and comfortable with ownership; ability to make decisions and drive execution independently where you see fit
- Outstanding communication and analytical skills, including with senior external stakeholders
