Your role at Veezu: We are looking for a reliable and experienced PSV Minibus Driver to join Veezu, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of passengers to and from designated locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, strong customer service, and strict adherence to safety regulations. This role may also require physical tasks, such as assisting passengers with luggage or ensuring the vehicle is in good condition.
Please note, the shift pattern for this role is: 4 days on, 4 days off, all year round - 03:00 to 13:00.
What you’ll do:
- Operate a PSV minibus safely and efficiently on scheduled routes or as directed.
- Ensure the safety of passengers during transit, assisting with boarding and disembarking as needed.
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly demeanor with passengers.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and ready for operation before each trip.
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety guidelines while driving.
- Assist passengers with special needs, such as elderly or disabled passengers, when required.
- Manage the loading and unloading of passengers and their belongings.
- Provide timely, reliable service, ensuring passengers arrive at their destinations on schedule.
- Address any passenger concerns or complaints in a professional and calm manner.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Be committed to maintaining our ISO27001 certification and set high standards for Information Security compliance.
What you’ll need:
- Valid PSV (Public Service Vehicle) license.
- Full PSV minibus license.
- CPC card.
- Digital tachograph card.
- Proven experience as a minibus driver or in a similar driving role.
- Excellent knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to communicate effectively with passengers and colleagues.
- Good time management and punctuality.
- Ability to handle minor vehicle maintenance and emergency situations.
- A clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
