Your Role At Veezu
As a People Coordinator you are an integral part of the People Team, providing administrative support and guidance across the employee lifecycle. Reporting into a People Partner, your journey will involve supporting the smooth operation of people processes and initiatives, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK employment law, regulations and internal policies.

What You’ll Do
- Respond to People related queries from employees and managers, providing information and guidance as needed.
- Resolving (and escalating where required) tickets within the People Ticketing System.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including liaising with the recruitment team in relation to candidate offers, arranging for pre-employment screening/references (including DBS checks) and induction planning.
- Liaising with other support departments as necessary (e.g. IT) to ensure that new starters are equipped to join the business.
- Support the Senior People Partner / People Partner on people related projects and initiatives.
- Provide administrative support to People Partner(s) (Acquisitions and Integrations), as and when required, to support a smooth transition process for new colleagues joining through acquisition.
- Maintain and update our HRIS and any other relevant systems or databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Administer and maintain accurate HR records and systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality, including payroll data.
- Provide administrative support, such as note taking, for employee relations cases, where required.
- Stay up to date with changes in employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Ensure fair treatment of customers, passengers, driver-partners and colleagues and act in a professional manner at all times.
- Follow information security policies and procedures.
- Ensure legal and contractual compliance.
- Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health and safety procedures.
- Ensure completion of all mandatory training.
- Be willing to support other business areas as needed.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure that customer, passenger, Driver Partner & colleagues’ information is safeguarded at all times, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- Be committed to maintaining our ISO27001 certification and set high standards for Information Security compliance.
- Maintain information security to a recognised required standard in line with business needs.
- Demonstrate a personal commitment and comply with procedures relating to information security.
- Undertake information security training and help your team understand what is required of them under the company’s information security policies and procedures.
- Lead by example and act in compliance with GDPR, the Company’s policies and information security requirements at all times.
What You’ll Need
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent HR qualification) and/or relevant experience.
- Experience as a People Coordinator or similar role, ideally within fast-paced, high-growth private sector companies.
- Understand UK employment laws and regulations.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate across all levels of the business.
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office.
- Organised and efficient with a high attention to detail.
Where You’ll Be
This role will be based out of our Cardiff HQ. However, it is expected that you will travel to and work from our hubs across the UK and Ireland as and when required for the proper performance of your role.
