The Role

Veeva is looking for an experienced Proposal Manager to drive winning responses for our innovative life sciences solutions! You will be a critical partner to the Veeva Europe Sales organization. You’ll project manage the end-to-end proposal lifecycle, collaborating with top experts to craft compelling narratives and responses to RFP/RFI questionnaires that resonate with European and global customers. If you're a results-oriented proposals pro with a leadership mentality, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact in a collaborative environment.

  • Project manage all RFP/RFI activities from initial receipt through final submission, utilizing Responsive and other enterprise tools to ensure on-time and high-quality deliverables.
  • Effectively coordinate contributions from cross-functional teams (Sales, Solution Consulting, Professional Services, Product, Strategy, IT Security, etc.) to develop winning responses.
  • Lead internal response team alignment calls and check point discussions to understand customer needs, confirm scope, identify key differentiators, and guide the team on assignments and timelines.
  • Draft response deliverables, manage project workflows, and conduct thorough quality checks (including formatting, proofreading, and editing of all proposal deliverables) to ensure accuracy, clarity, compliance, and a polished appearance.
  • Effectively handle a workload that includes multiple proposal assignments and other team projects, consistently meeting deadlines.

Strong written and oral communication skills in English.

5+ years of experience managing complex RFP/RFI proposal responses within a fast-paced B2B SaaS technology environment.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

International business experience and an ownership mindset, flexible to support global operations across diverse time zones.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including advanced use of Styles in Word. Expert formatting, editing, and proofreading skills.

Experience using RFP/Strategic Response Management tools (e.g., Responsive, Qvidian, or Loopio).

Experience in life sciences proposals.

APMP Foundation Certification.

Fluency in one or multiple European languages (Spanish, German, Italian, French).
