As a Public Benefit Corporation (PBC), we balance purpose with profit, operating with a culture of extreme autonomy, speed, and ownership. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, bilingual (English/Arabic) data professional to step into the Data Product Manager role for OpenData Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The role is fully remote in the UK, Germany, or Spain. Travel expected: 10%. If you have a strong technical foundation in data analytics or engineering and are tired of just pulling data to fulfil tickets, this is your chance to own the roadmap. You won't just oversee data pipelines; you will lead product strategy across 12 countries, identify new market opportunities, and lead cross-functional execution from end to end.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the MENA Product Vision: Serve as the end-to-end owner for the OpenData Middle East and North Africa (MENA) product, actively scaling its customer footprint and driving strategy across 12 target countries.
  • Architect the Data Strategy: Make the critical, high-level product decisions governing how we source, transform, update, and analyse complex regional datasets to maximise customer value.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Execution: Translate market needs into a clear roadmap, prioritising the backlog and requirements for dedicated squads of data engineers, data analysts, and product operations teams.
  • Drive Customer Success: Partner directly with strategy, sales, and services teams to gather customer feedback, iterate rapidly, and ensure the product is continuously improving.
  • Champion Data Excellence: Set and enforce rigorous KPIs for data coverage, completeness, and accuracy, maximising data quality.
  • Navigate Complex Markets: Stay ahead of regional healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and market shifts, adapting the product roadmap to turn market complexity into a competitive advantage.

Requirements

  • Product Experience: 2+ years of experience in data analytics or product management, with a proven track record of extracting value from complex datasets.
  • Ruthless Prioritisation: Strong product intuition with the ability to manage a backlog, balancing long-term product scope, strict data quality standards, and customer feedback.
  • Technical Fluency: Proficient in SQL. You don't just rely on dashboards; you can query the database directly to investigate issues, validate data quality, and prototype solutions.
  • Educational Foundation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Bilingual Communication: Fluent in English (C1 or higher) and conversational in Arabic (B2 or higher), enabling you to effectively manage stakeholders and understand MENA market nuances.

Nice to Have

  • Life Sciences Expertise: Experience building data products specifically for the life sciences industry, spanning data modelling, sourcing, analysis, and delivery.
