Commercial Analytics in Europe is a new service with the objective to use analytics and Machine Learning to help our customers in Life Sciences engage in a better and more relevant way with Health Care Professionals (HCPs), thereby improving patient care. As a Business Consultant in Commercial Analytics, you will be reporting to the Team Lead of Commercial Analytics Europe. Your responsibility will be to co-develop and deliver analytics solutions that solve our customers’ commercialization challenges, such as HCP segmentation & targeting analytics. You will bridge between our customers and internal teams, consisting of a diverse group of data scientists, consultants, and sales, marketing, or medical experts. This will allow you to translate our customer’s business problems into our best solutions, build strong relationships with customers, and develop your analytics acumen.

What You'll Do
- Deploy commercial analytics solutions with customers with the support of our data scientists and other experts.
- Interface with customer business and technical leads to define the most appropriate solution for the customer and ensure successful deployment.
- Learn about building analytics solutions that are innovative but robust and scalable as a product.
- Contribute to the team, making Veeva their first choice, develop a strong team spirit, lead community initiatives, and support the professional development of your colleagues.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in Life Sciences or consulting, of which at least one year in healthcare.
- Proven project management skills.
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills, as well as a passion and curiosity for working on advanced analytics projects in a business environment.
- Strong ownership to drive projects to success and proactivity to make decisions in the face of uncertainty.
- Ability to build strong relations with customers and translate customer needs into solutions.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with different audiences.
- Great team player who collaborates with diverse colleagues from different disciplines and backgrounds.
- An inclusive approach to solving our problems, taking into account perspectives from all colleagues.
- Ability to travel occasionally within Europe to meet customers.
Nice to Have
- Professional experience in a Life Sciences commercial or medical role and understanding of core business processes.
- Languages in addition to English.
- Coding skills for exploratory analyses in, e.g., Python, R, or SQL.
