Veetee is an ambient foods and rice company, a major supplier to retailers, wholesalers, and other food manufacturing businesses. We have two factories and three warehouses in Rochester, Kent, one manufacturing site in India and a Sales & Distribution team in the USA. Job Purpose: The Brand Manager will play a critical role in supporting marketing initiatives, driving innovation, and enabling commercial growth. This role requires a motivated, detail-oriented individual with the ability to collaborate across teams and support the brand’s expansion across physical and online retail spaces. Responsibilities: Brand Support: Assist in developing and implementing brand architecture and proposition design to align with business goals. Ensure brand guidelines are upheld across marketing materials, including packaging, digital, and print media. Conduct competitive analysis to identify market gaps and opportunities for brand differentiation. Marketing Campaigns: Have a strong understand of performance marketing on social media and e-retail. Independently lead it with agency partners to drive growth. Collaborate with internal and external teams (e.g., content, PR, digital agencies) to maintain an “always-on” presence on social media for UK, USA, and other markets. Track campaign metrics and prepare detailed ROI reports to evaluate success. Product Management: Support the innovation pipeline, including product development and commercialisation of new ideas. Manage product lifecycle updates, ensuring accurate information is provided to teams and partners. Coordinate with supply chain to ensure on-time product launches and distribution readiness. Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners, including retailers, distributors, and agencies. Represent the brand at events, trade shows, and other promotional activities as needed. Analytics and Insights: Analyse consumer insights and sales data to inform strategic decisions. Generate reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management. Any other reasonable duties, responsibility or requests that may be issued by management from time to time. Skills, Knowledge and Experience: 3-4 years of experience in digital marketing, brand management, or a similar role, preferably within the food or FMCG industry. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, Business, or a related field. Strong understanding and experience of digital marketing strategy and tactics. Good knowledge and experience of working with the full marketing mix. Passion for championing the customer and using insights to drive customer experience improvements. Passion and track record for working with creative, content, PR and print agencies. Knowledge of and experience of digital marketing channels, including but not limited to social media, content creation, and influencer campaigns. Experience of monitoring and measuring, e.g. through brand tracking and campaign performance measurement. Management of external agencies including print, social media, PR, creative, content. Project management skills – ability to juggle several different projects at once and prioritise. Adaptability to changing trends and meeting deadlines. Creative flair and commercial acumen.
