About the Role
We're looking for a World Foods Junior Commercial Manager to support the growth of the Veetee World Foods business across the UK. You'll work closely with our commercial team and our top 4 customers, helping with sales planning, customer support and day-to-day commercial activity. You'll learn how negotiations work by supporting and sitting in on them, and as you build your skills and confidence, you'll take on more responsibility for the channel and its customer relationships.
What You'll Be Doing
- Promotional Planning & Customer Management - Support the World Foods Manager in executing structured promotional plans, working closely with customer teams to ensure activity is planned, agreed and delivered on time
- Supply Chain & Availability -Manage product supply to Veetee's advantage, forecasting accurately and coordinating with supply chain to maximise in-store execution, including securing pallet and display space
- Reporting & Insight - Deliver store-level reporting and analysis, using market data and insight to identify opportunities that drive sales growth
- Price Pack Architecture & Innovation - Build a strong understanding of category pricing and pack architecture, helping shape new formats and winning promotional/trading plans
- Channel Growth - Support World Foods rice growth beyond the top 4 customers, and take on wider category/sector responsibilities across marketing, communication and activation over time
- Channel Ownership - Build toward full ownership of the World Foods channel across all customers, with increasing autonomy and accountability as you grow into the role
This is a role for someone who wants to grow with the business - starting hands-on and building toward genuine ownership of a channel with real commercial impact.
