About the Company

At VEED, we build a generative AI platform for AI video creation focused on social media. Millions of marketers use our tools to imagine and generate branded videos in minutes.

Where and How We Work

We work in a hybrid environment. London, Amsterdam, and Barcelona teams are required to be in the office 3 days a week in the first 6 months, then 1 day a week with flexibility.

About the Role

Video is everywhere. We need an editor who works across formats (YouTube long‑form, Instagram Reels, TikToks, customer stories) and ensures every piece feels intentional. You will sit inside the creative team, working closely with brand and design, owning the edit from brief to export, maintaining our brand standard, and using AI tools naturally in your workflow, including producing fully AI‑generated videos.

What You’ll Do

  • Edit long and short‑form content across YouTube, Instagram, X, TikTok, paid ads, and customer stories.
  • Produce fully AI‑generated videos for organic and paid social channels.
  • Pick up a camera when it matters: shoot events and customer stories on location.
  • Own the aesthetic; your edit should showcase VEED’s point of view.
  • Build formats and styles that work natively on each platform.
  • Implement sound design, motion, and music from frame one.
  • Use transitions, effects, and audio mixing to earn watch time.
  • Execute VEED’s brand guidelines without hand-holding, working closely with brand and design.
  • Work inside campaign briefs, then push them further.
  • Use AI tools (ElevenLabs, Weave, image and video generation models) to move faster and produce better work.
  • Stay current on platform trends and bring format ideas to the table.
  • Run multiple projects at once and deliver on deadline.

About You

  • 2+ years of professional video editing experience.
  • Social‑first background is a big plus.
  • Fluent in Adobe Premiere and DaVinci Resolve.
  • Comfortable across formats and aspect ratios; transition between long‑form and short‑form seamlessly.
  • Comfortable behind a camera and can set up and shoot events or customer stories when needed.
  • Solid knowledge of video formats, specs, and social platform best practices.
  • Can spot a cut many frames too late and fix it before anyone asks.
  • Familiar with AI‑assisted production workflows.
  • Explores new tools as they emerge and finds ways to put them to work.
  • Self‑driven and easy to collaborate with.
  • Has a point of view and knows when to defend or drop it.
  • Bonus: experience editing ads or paid social content.

What We Offer

  • Monthly subsidy programme to cover expenses such as office furniture, childcare, gym memberships, or other personal needs.
  • Unlimited paid holidays.
  • Home office set‑up: full equipment kit including laptop, monitors, headsets, keyboards, and more.
  • Mental health benefit: confidential support through Spill.
  • Equity: stock options as part of the company’s growth.

Salary Range

London: £43,200 – £54,000 gross per year. We set ranges based on market data and review regularly; final offer reflects experience and skills. We do not ask about current or previous salary at any stage of the process.
