UK&I Territory Manager

Job Description:

The Territory Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing business to new and existing customers within their Territory. This is a highly collaborative role, working with Veeam internal teams (Sales Development, Sales Engineering, Marketing etc) as well as our Channel, Alliance and MSP Partners to ensure the successful execution of their sales plan for the assigned Territory.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Sales leadership to define a robust Sales Plan, and then execute against this to maximise the revenue and success of their Territory
  • Lead the virtual team aligned to their Territory to ensure collaboration, alignment and drive success
  • Build and maintain relationships with end-user customers, understand their goals and requirements, and apply Veeam technology to help our customers succeed
  • At Veeam, everyone sells, so developing sales pipeline by proactive calling to new and existing customers to convert sales conversations to identified prospects
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our Partner and Alliances sales teams to drive customer engagement to identify and close business
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and information, as well as Veeam’s product portfolio through regular training courses and updates
  • Provide reliable, timely revenue forecasts based on the company\'s reporting tools
  • Ultimately meet or exceed their Territory revenue targets

Qualifications

  • History of success in high tech sales as demonstrated in achievement of sales quota and closing of deals of size
  • Experience selling into the commercial market segment and able to bring partner and/or end user relationships to the role
  • Sales background built around Cloud/Virtualization/Storage/Back-up/Security/aaS solutions preferred
  • Able to work effectively within and across the Veeam organization as well as with the Ecosystem of Veeam partnerships
  • Able to articulate the key steps in building pipeline through to close of a deal, and give examples of their ability to use these steps and “solution sell” to drive success
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Self motivated and focused on driving results
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where roles and responsibilities change quickly
