About the Role
The Lead Account Executive, Enterprise is responsible for a book of existing key FTSE 100 & 250 customers and a set of target enterprise accounts to hunt and close net new logo acquisition. The right candidate is structured in their daily rhythm and prepared for meetings with a point of view, curious in discovery to fully understand the link between the corporate objective, technology initiative, risk mitigation, and TCO. Enterprise sales is a team sport, which means managing a team of specialist resources and executive sponsors to support your customer or prospect outcome. A methodical approach is required to develop new opportunities, execute account strategies and manage pipeline progression, whilst working in collaboration with channels, GSI and Alliances to exceed quarterly linearity and annual quotas. Remote working you can be based nationally, but willing to travel.
What You'll Do
- Understanding your existing customer corporate objective, technology initiatives and how Veeam can protect their business with TCO, risk mitigation and metric business outcomes.
- Detailed discovery meetings with a curious and hunter mindset to ensure we are working to customer challenges with mutually agreed timeframes.
- Structured approach to personal pipeline generation and navigating customer organisations through multi persona campaigns, outreach and sales plays.
- Solution selling to develop existing customers with a keen focus on new customer application.
- Accountability for accurate weekly forecasting and account/opportunity detail in CRM.
What You'll Bring
- Experience of enterprise SaaS sales and experience working with the channel.
- Consistent track record of new logos acquisition and exceeding quotas in FTSE enterprise accounts.
- Proven relationships in top tier enterprise accounts and ability to access c-suite.
- Strong knowledge of consultative sales that gets results.
- Structured approach to the week with personal pipeline generation, opportunity progression and ability to build champions and access economic buyers.
- Be available to travel across the UK.
- A self-starter with the ability to learn quickly.
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where roles and responsibilities change quickly.
- Knowledge of digital transformation, including Cloud/SaaS migration and ransomware recovery, and AI is highly relevant.
