Requirements:
- We require a first-class degree, Masters or PhD in Maths, Computer Science or another relevant scientific field.

Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a Software Engineer with prior commercial experience to join our team.
- We will have you join a dedicated desktop product team of typically 4 or 5 other developers.
- You will work within an agile methodology as part of our larger multi-product development department.
- You will primarily code in C++ for Windows and macOS.
- You will contribute to web and AI products and services that are integrated into our desktop product range.

- We are Vectric, an employee-owned UK company based in Alcester, Warwickshire. We have been creating an award-winning range of 3D design and CNC machining software tools for more than 20 years, with global sales made directly online and through our worldwide network of CNC machine tool manufacturers. Our customers include artists, creative designers, hobbyists, engineers, commercial companies and industrial manufacturers. We offer hybrid working with 2 office days per week, full-time hours of 37.5 per week, and a compressed 4-day week option. Our benefits include a salary of £45,000-£65,000 depending on experience, 15% employer pension contributions, private healthcare covering spouse and children, an annual bonus with up to the first £3,500 paid tax free, company pension, private dental and medical insurance, profit sharing, and work from home. After 12 months of employment, we automatically enroll staff as beneficiaries of our Employee Ownership Trust, which may provide additional profit distributions when the company is profitable.
