VectorBuilder seeks a marketing assistant to support the marketing team in building the company’s presence at events and increasing brand awareness. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has exceptional organizational skills, and is passionate about making events and marketing initiatives run smoothly. You’ll work closely with the marketing team to support logistics, coordinate conferences, and ensure seamless administrative operations. This role will be given training and the ability to learn new skills and develop as a marketing professional. Quick advancement and career growth opportunities are available.

Responsibilities:

  • Exhibitions and events
  • Assist with the planning, logistics, and execution of in-person (e.g., scientific conferences, trade shows, sponsored symposia)
  • Liaise with event organizers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to manage deadlines, deliverables, and budgets
  • Coordinate booth materials, shipping, promotional items, and collateral
  • Support pre-event planning (registration, booth bookings, accommodation, travel) and post-event follow-up
  • Maintain the events calendar and ensure accurate reporting of ROI and KPIs

Administrative Support:

  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing team (meeting scheduling, expense tracking, purchase orders)
  • Support cross-functional collaboration with sales and product teams
  • Assisting in ensuring that all ensuing projects are completed within the given timescale and budget
  • Track and organize marketing assets (presentations, banners, flyers, giveaways)

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • BS or higher degree in biology, genetics, or related major field (preferred)
  • Marketing experience (2+ years) or marketing degree
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel/Google sheets (essential)
  • Adaptable and consistent with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent in time management and task prioritisation
  • Graphic design experience is a plus

This is a full-time, salaried, benefits-eligible position located in the London Office.
