As a Lead Data and AI Architect, you will join our team and work on exciting AI projects for the Insurance and Banking sectors. You will collaborate with leading British and international clients, architect and deliver high-quality AI solutions from prototype to operation. Job Requirements
- Expertise in multiple programming languages and frameworks, along with a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SRE, QA, DevSecOps, Agile).
- Deep expertise in leading complex technical and operational client projects in the areas of Data, AI, and Cloud.
- Strong record of delivering projects under tight deadlines and stringent functional and non‑functional requirements.
- Experience in banking, insurance, or retail production environments is a plus.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
- 10+ years of professional experience in a leading software engineering role, either as a software architect or team lead.
- Ability to quickly identify and prioritise technological challenges, and provide innovative and relevant solutions, both during client projects and in business development activities.
- Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally to meet clients or collaborate with our centres of excellence.
Job Responsibilities
- Hands‐on role: write architecture/design specifications, code, perform code reviews, and be involved in all phases of software engineering.
- Support sales team in pre‑sales conversations, RFP processes, and demonstrate our capabilities and value proposition in the AI domain.
- Work on proof‑of‑concepts and prototypes to showcase the feasibility and impact of AI solutions for specific use cases and verticals.
- Advise clients in technical workshops throughout the entire client lifecycle, from conceptualisation to implementation and maintenance, assisting them in formulating AI architecture, strategy, and development plans.
- Lead engineering projects end‑to‑end, ensuring client satisfaction and trust, and fostering long‑term partnerships.
- Coordinate and supervise the delivery of high‑quality AI solutions with our centres of excellence, ensuring alignment with client needs and expectations.
