Job Description The Vertical Consulting Lead, Retail & Luxury is responsible for driving business growth and service excellence within the retail and luxury industry vertical. Your priority market initially will be UK but you will also work across Switzerland and France to develop the vertical. You will play a key role in the vertical’s performance, including thought leadership, strategy creation and execution and revenue generation. Job Requirements Proven experience working in your vertical at executive/senior level either as a client, consultant or both Strong interest in technology,data and AI with an understanding of how it can transform business within your vertical Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders. Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. Full proficiency in English with French and/or German and plus. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events– particularly within UK, Franc eand Switzerland. Job Responsibilities Industry thought leadership Conceive and support the development of industry specific thought leadership content that demonstrates deep knowledge of the challenges facing industry leaders and a clear point of view on how they can be addressed. Develop a deep understanding of vector8 capabilities and services to match them effectively to industry challenges. Help develop ideas for vector8 industry solutions and services, identifying differentiators for your vertical that will gain interest of our clients and prospects. Ensure vector8 positioning is relevant and aligned to the challenges of industry leaders. Attend relevant industry events as an ambassador for vector8 with the aim of representing vector8, gathering industry intelligence and building leads. New business & pre-sales Use your network, events and communities to be an active advocate for vector8 to identify and support the acquisition of new leads. Support the creation and execution of a vertical go to market strategy with aligned activities and propositions. Engage with prospects from first introduction to nurture the relationship and move vector8 towards proposal and first project. Support the development of client pitches and proposals, ensuring the response contains relevant industry insight and client personalisation. Client engagement Help establish vector8 as the go-to AI Transformation partner for our clients in your vertical. Work with clients to translate their business objectives into a clear direction for the vector8 delivery team. Develop stakeholder maps and engagement plans for key individuals within each client organisation to ensure regular and purposeful conversations with key audiences. Develop deep client relationships that enable you to identify new opportunities to extend the vector8 scope. Provide day-to-day relationship support to delivery projects where relevant, acting both internally to ensure our solution meets the identified business need and goals, and external to manage the client and support their decision making and adoption. Regularly meet with clients in person where possible to build trust and rapport.
