Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or ≥10 years progressive experience if no degree).
  • Minimum of 3 years post‑related experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
  • Proven experience developing, customizing, and supporting Dynamics 365 F&O solutions.
  • Proficiency in the MS Power Platform (especially Copilot Studio), X++ and C# for Dynamics 365 F&O customizations and integrations.
  • Hands‑on experience with Data Entities, Data Management Framework (DMF), and structured reporting in Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Experience supporting finance and procurement approval logic, compliance requirements, and audit‑ready ERP processes.
  • Ability to translate finance, procurement, and operational policies into system logic.
  • Experience with Power Platform tools: Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, virtual tables, and integration patterns.
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio and Lifecycle Services (LCS).
  • Knowledge of Unified Developer Experience (UDE) and Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC).
  • Participation in all phases of ERP implementation: requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post‑go‑live support.
  • Ability to design and build automated workflows and integrations between F&O and external systems using Power Platform technologies.
  • Understanding of extension models, upgrade strategies, coding standards, and maintainability best practices.
  • Experience with unit testing, code reviews, technical documentation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Proven ability to provide maintenance, performance tuning, and third‑level support for Dynamics 365 applications.
  • Strong communication skills for consulting with clients and translating complex technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum Master) strongly preferred.
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Developer Associate and equivalent Microsoft Power Platform certifications, including Copilot Studio.
  • Dynamics 365 Solution Architect Expert or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Customise and configure Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, leveraging visual studio, LCS, UDE, and the Power Platform, including Copilot Studio.
  • Participate in all phases of the Dynamics 365 F&O implementation lifecycle and collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders.
  • Develop, enhance, and stabilise core Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations modules such as Procurement & Sourcing, Purchase Orders, Vendor Management, General Ledger, Budgeting, Payments, and Travel & Expense.
  • Extend and enhance standard modules through customisations primarily using the MS Power Platform, X++, and C# while adhering to coding standards and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Design and build integrations between F&O and external systems using Power Automate, Dataverse, virtual tables, and RESTful APIs.
  • Create and maintain automated workflows and approval processes using Power Automate, Copilot Studio agents, and native F&O workflows.
  • Design, maintain, and optimise Data Entities and DMF pipelines to support structured data import/export and reporting.
  • Develop low‑code applications in Power Apps and incorporate AI features to enhance F&O processes.
  • Customise and maintain document templates and outputs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with finance and procurement requirements.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and third‑level support, including performance tuning, bug fixes, and user training.
  • Consult with clients and end‑users on technical and functional aspects, provide guidance on solution design, and facilitate user acceptance testing.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
