Senior Integration Engineer

Our client are hiring hands-on engineering role focused on building cloud-based integrations using Azure Integration Services. You will design and implement secure, scalable integrations between Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (FO), Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), and other business systems. The role includes creating integration patterns, delivering reliable message processing, enabling operational monitoring, and supporting automation across the Azure ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Analyse integration requirements — with primary focus on D365 FO and D365 CE — to identify common patterns and define scalable integration solutions
• Design, build, and deploy integrations using Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps
• Develop secure and performant API connectivity using REST, OAuth2, and Azure AD
• Establish integration standards and reusable components to improve consistency and delivery efficiency
• Ensure operational resiliency including retries, idempotency, message ordering, and DLQ handling
• Implement centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting for full lifecycle observability
• Use Azure SQL Database as needed to support integration logic and data processing
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Bicep and contribute to CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvements in stability and performance
• Partner with architecture and business teams to ensure integrations meet security, compliance, and performance goals
• Maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and support knowledge

Skills

• 10 + years
  of
  overall
  experience implementing integration patterns using Azure Services such as
  Azure Service Bus
  ,
  Azure Event Grid
  ,
  Azure Function Apps (Python and C#)
  and
  Logic Apps
  across distributed systems.
• 5+ years
  of experience developing and consuming REST and OData APIs, with strong knowledge of Azure authentication models such as OAuth2, Azure AD tokens, and Managed Identity
• 5+ years
  of experience Integrating
  D365 FO and D365 CE
  with external systems, leveraging Azure Services for message orchestration and handling ERP/CRM-specific data structures
• 5+ years
  of experience working with
  Azure SQL Database
  , including querying, stored procedures, and using SQL within integration workflows.
• 3+ years
  of
  experience using
  Azure APIM
  to securely publish and manage APIs, configure inbound/outbound policies, enforce throttling and rate limits, apply routing rules, and maintain consistent governance across integration endpoints.
• 5+ years
  of experience with Azure DevOps, using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Bicep to deploy Azure resources and application code
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams
