Our client is looking for an experienced Technical Systems Manager to take ownership of the systems, tools, and technology that underpin enterprise-wide portfolio, programme, and project delivery. This is a strategic, hands-on opportunity to drive the evolution of PMO technology, ensuring governance, reporting, automation, and data management support effective decision-making across the organisation. You'll work closely with IT, Finance, and key stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions, optimise PPM tools, and enhance reporting capabilities through the Microsoft ecosystem and emerging AI technologies. Responsibilities
- Lead the roadmap and continuous improvement of enterprise PMO systems and PPM tools
- Act as the subject matter expert for PMO technology, driving automation, innovation, and AI adoption
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver system enhancements and integrations
- Develop and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards, reporting, and data quality initiatives
- Ensure PMO systems align with governance, compliance, security, and data management standards
- Manage third-party system suppliers, oversee product development, and maintain documentation, training, and user support
Skills
- Proven experience managing enterprise PMO systems, PPM platforms, or project management technology
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Planner (Project for the Web), Dataverse, SharePoint, Power Automate, Dynamics 365, and Power Apps
- Experience developing reporting solutions using Power BI and managing data architecture and systems integration
- Knowledge of AI Builder, Copilot Studio, or other AI technologies to support business automation
- Strong understanding of portfolio, programme, and project management methodologies and governance
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
