Our client is looking for a PMO & Projects Lead to improve project delivery standards and establish consistent governance across a varied change portfolio. You will lead and support project delivery while introducing stronger processes, reporting, and controls across multiple concurrent projects, working closely with Project Managers and business stakeholders. This role is focused on improving delivery maturity, embedding professional project standards, and providing hands-on leadership across both PMO and project execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop two Project Managers, providing direction, oversight, and support across active projects.
- Establish and improve PMO governance, delivery frameworks, reporting standards, and project controls.
- Drive consistency across project planning, risk management, resource tracking, budgeting, and status reporting.
- Work closely with Project Managers to unblock delivery issues and ensure projects remain on track.
- Implement practical processes and governance that improve visibility, accountability, and delivery quality.
- Own portfolio-level reporting and provide clear updates to senior stakeholders on project status, risks, priorities, and dependencies.
- Support the delivery of a diverse range of business change projects including operational, systems, HR, and product-related initiatives.
- Ensure project documentation, decision-making, and governance processes are structured, maintained, and auditable.
- Build strong relationships across the business to ensure project delivery aligns with operational priorities and business expectations.
- Contribute directly to project delivery where required, taking a hands-on approach to support successful outcomes.
