Partner | Resourcing & Improvements Manager @ Vector Resourcing | Streamlining Recruitment Processes

We are searching for an Infrastructure Engineer who will be crucial in driving the development of high-quality internal IT infrastructure. This role involves designing, deploying, maintaining, and optimising the hardware, software, networks, and systems that support internal operations to ensure high availability, performance, and security across all internal environments.

Responsibilities

– Design, install, and maintain internal infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, and virtualisation environments

– Monitor system performance, uptime, and resource usage; proactively address potential issues

– Manage on-premise and co-located infrastructure, including backups and disaster recovery plans

– Administer and secure Windows servers, file systems, and access controls, including OS patching and server updates

– Oversee corporate networks (LAN/WAN/VPN), firewalls, switches, and routers

– Ensure infrastructure aligns with business continuity, security, and compliance standards

– Implement automation and configuration management tools

– Manage internal tools such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and email systems

– Support employee workstations, software provisioning, and user permissions

– Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and changes
