This role is a 12 month fixed term contract. Our client is looking for a Project Manager to lead the delivery of a broad portfolio of business and technology projects across a complex operational environment. You will drive delivery across multiple initiatives, working closely with internal stakeholders, technical teams and third-party delivery partners to ensure projects progress at pace and deliver measurable outcomes. This role is focused on hands-on delivery, coordination and problem-solving within a fast-moving and unstructured environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timelines, priorities and dependencies are effectively managed.
- Drive the successful delivery of a full website renewal programme, coordinating internal stakeholders and external suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage enhancements and ongoing development activity across the finance platform built on Microsoft Business Central with a bespoke overlay.
- Coordinate continuous improvements to the organisation’s contact management system, ensuring business requirements are clearly defined and delivered.
- Define, document and challenge business requirements, translating operational needs into actionable project outcomes.
- Own relationships with third-party suppliers, managing project quotations, budgets, delivery plans and performance against agreed objectives.
- Identify delivery risks, blockers and dependencies early, implementing pragmatic solutions to maintain project momentum.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment across project scope, priorities and expectations.
- Establish clear project governance, reporting and tracking processes appropriate to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Take ownership of delivery activity with minimal supervision, adapting priorities and approach as project needs change.
