Our client is looking for an IT Solution Architect – D365 Finance & Operations to own the architecture, design and governance of its global ERP platform.
You will shape and control how D365 F&O supports finance, supply chain and project operations, working across global business teams, IT, architecture, data, security and third-party delivery partners.
This role is focused on standardisation, governance, integration and continuous improvement across a complex, international ERP environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end solution architecture for D365 F&O across finance, supply chain and project operations.
- Define and maintain the global ERP blueprint, design standards and architecture principles.
- Lead fit-gap analysis, prioritising standard D365 capability and reducing unnecessary customisation.
- Govern functional designs, technical designs, extensions, integrations, data entities and reporting architecture.
- Lead or contribute to ERP Design Authority and Architecture Review Board processes.
- Protect the global ERP template while allowing controlled regional localisation where required.
- Guide ERP delivery teams, IT services, system integrators and third-party partners through design, build, test and release activity.
- Define secure, scalable and auditable integration patterns between D365 F&O, D365 CE, Power Platform, Azure and enterprise systems.
- Oversee ERP data architecture, master data governance and data quality across finance, customer, vendor, inventory and product data.
- Maintain architecture standards for security, So D, SOX, ITGC, ALM, release management, performance and disaster recovery.
