Our client is finalising an implementation of Purview for their data governance platform, and they're now looking for a permanent Data Governance Lead to utilise this in implementing an end-to-end BAU data governance strategy.
Due to the ongoing improvements to data governance, with the implementation of Purview, there is an appreciation for data governance within the organisation, but you will be responsible for the development of understanding moving forward.
Driving the delivery and compliance of data frameworks across the organisation, working on the development of their global strategy for data governance.
Responsibilities
- Leads organisation wide governance to manage data as a trusted enterprise asset.
- Integrates governance into projects and change initiatives with controls defined early.
- Ensures quality rules and lineage are defined, maintained, and actively monitored.
- Applies pragmatic, risk based governance aligned to regulatory and policy requirements.
- Leads through influence across business and delivery teams, with or without direct line management responsibility.
- Ensures governed, classified, and protected data is fit for analytics and AI use.
- Tracks maturity, adoption, and effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.
