Our client is looking for a Data Architect to take ownership of the data architecture underpinning commercial decisions across a global entertainment business. You will establish consistent models, definitions and standards across markets, improving the data behind pricing, revenue management, forecasting and trading. This role focuses on strengthening an existing architecture and ensuring new systems follow a common approach.
Responsibilities:
- Own the data architecture across commercial functions and global markets.
- Define common data models, business definitions and data contracts.
- Design the data structures that underpin pricing, revenue management, forecasting and trading.
- Assess weaknesses in the existing architecture and prioritise improvements.
- Establish standards for integrating each market and new system into the wider data architecture.
- Embed data protection and security requirements into architectural designs.
- Work with business stakeholders to translate commercial requirements into clear data designs.
- Explain architectural decisions, risks and trade-offs so stakeholders understand their business impact.
- Guide delivery teams in applying agreed models and standards consistently.
