We’re looking for an experienced Enterprise Solution Architect to play a key role across major technology programmes. This position sits at the centre of business and technology, acting as a trusted advisor to project teams, technical specialists, and operational stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for shaping enterprise-wide solutions, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and aligned to long-term strategic goals. You’ll work closely with Cyber Security, Service Operations, Data Services, and engineering teams to ensure smooth delivery from design through to live support. A key part of the role is translating complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end architectural design of enterprise solutions across large-scale programmes
  • Define and maintain architecture principles, standards, patterns, and guardrails
  • Produce high-level designs, detailed technical architectures, and strategic roadmaps
  • Evaluate solution options and provide clear, structured recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Act as a trusted advisor to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Support procurement activities, including vendor selection and technical assessments
  • Collaborate across Cyber Security, Data, Service Operations, and Engineering teams
  • Act as a senior member of Technical Design Authority (TDA) and governance forums
  • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and supportable in live environments
