We are supporting a client in the final stages of their Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation, with a go-live scheduled for summer. They have identified key gaps within their finance function and require an experienced Business Central Finance Consultant to support the final build, configuration, and user readiness ahead of go-live. This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with the Finance Controller and transactional finance team to refine system setup, ensure alignment with accounting processes, and deliver targeted training to end users.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Finance Controller and finance team to finalise system configuration within Business Central
- Support and optimise key finance areas including:
- Export banking files
- General Ledger (GL) Deposits
- Fixed Assets
Skills
- Strong experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central (Finance modules)
- Proven ability to configure Business Central to meet finance requirements
- Solid understanding of accounting principles within Business Central
- Experience working closely with finance stakeholders (e.g. Finance Controller, transactional teams)
- Ability to deliver clear, practical user training
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Desirable: Fully or part-qualified accountant (e.g. ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
