Our client is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and improve a reliable, secure IT environment within an SME. You will ensure core systems and user services run effectively across on-premise and Microsoft 365. This role is focused on hands‑on delivery, stability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain core infrastructure, ensuring performance, uptime, and security
  • Deliver hands‑on user and endpoint support, including walk‑up issues
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services including Entra, Defender, Intune, and Exchange Online
  • Contribute to infrastructure projects with minimal disruption to live services
  • Apply and improve security controls, monitoring threats and responding where needed

Essential skills
