Our client is looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to own and develop its established Google Cloud Platform environment. This is a hands-on role combining core GCP platform engineering with the development of scalable, secure AI and agentic capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the GCP/GKE platform, including integrations, identity and security.
- Improve platform capabilities using Infrastructure as Code, GitOps and CI/CD.
- Drive security, resilience, performance, lifecycle management and cost optimisation.
- Support AI and agentic technology adoption, including governance and engineering best practice.
Essential skills
- Strong hands-on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience.
- Experience with GKE and modern cloud/platform engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, GitOps and CI/CD.
- Experience of cloud monitoring, security and cost optimisation/FinOps.
