We are seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer / Principal Electronic Design Engineer to join a Cambridge based R&D company who are developing state-of-the-art medical devices technology. You will be a dynamic individual and looking to take the next step in your career. This integral role will see you become the figurehead for electronics design and development, running a small team and overseeing product development to launch, liaising with customers, fostering relationships, project management and being the conduit between the development team and senior stakeholders.

Principal Electronics Design Engineer requirements:
  • Excellent academics – At least a 2:1 Degree in electronic engineering or physics or a relevant discipline from a top University.
  • Recent and extensive experience in analogue and digital design.
  • Skilled in embedded software development (C / C++).
  • Experience working as a Technical Lead / Project Manager / Mentor.
  • Proven track record of electronic circuit design and electronic system design innovation.
  • Practical electronics skills (soldering, wiring, bench work, PCBs, etc).
  • Previous experience in medical devices development beneficial.
  • Full product development experience (from conception to prototype to manufacture) beneficial.
  • Project management, technical sales, customer/client liaison experience beneficial.

Salary: circa Β£80k - Β£90k + benefits
