Vector Recruitment Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced CCTV Rig Lead / CCTV Rig Manager to join a specialist drainage contractor operating across the UK. This is a handsâon, fieldâbased role ideal for an experienced CCTV Drainage Surveyor who is happy with regular night shifts and working away from home. You will take full responsibility for a drainage survey vehicle and lead a small onâsite crew, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role will require working away roughly 90% of the time and working night shift 80% of the time.
The Role
- Lead and manage a CCTV survey crew onâsite, ensuring work is completed to specification and deadline
- Operate and maintain advanced CCTV drainage survey equipment
- Carry out pipe condition inspections and produce highâquality survey data
- Accurately code defects using Wincan and prepare detailed reports
- Act as the main onâsite contact for clients and site managers
- Ensure strict adherence to health & safety standards
- Manage and maintain the survey vehicle, keeping equipment organised and compliant
About You
- Proven experience as a CCTV Rig Lead / CCTV Rig Manager
- OS19X certification â essential
- Strong working knowledge of Wincan and drainage survey techniques
- Full UK driving licence â essential
- Comfortable with night work, weekends, and staying away during the week
- Strong leadership skills with a proactive, problemâsolving mindset
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
