Vector Recruitment Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Drainage Coordinator to join a busy and growing drainage operation in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in drainage scheduling, planning, or coordination who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring drainage engineers are fully utilised, projects run smoothly, and clients receive an exceptional level of service from enquiry through to completion.
The Role
- Coordinate and schedule Drainage Engineers, CCTV Surveyors, Supervisors, Labourers, and subcontractors
- Manage reactive call-outs, CCTV surveys, planned maintenance, drainage repairs, excavations, and remedial works
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing updates and ensuring excellent customer service throughout each project
- Plan engineer diaries to maximise productivity and respond quickly to urgent operational requirements
- Coordinate materials, plant, traffic management, waste collections, and subcontractors
- Manage jobs through the CRM system, ensuring reports, quotations, purchase orders, and job documentation are completed accurately
- Support the Operations Manager by monitoring engineer utilisation, project progress, profitability, and operational performance
About You
- Proven experience coordinating drainage operations, with a strong understanding of CCTV surveys, jetting, drain repairs, lining, excavations, and reinstatement works
- Strong organisational and diary management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Commercially aware, with experience handling quotations, work orders, and invoicing
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience using CRM, scheduling, or job management systems
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
