Vector Recruitment Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Drainage Civils Engineer / Drainage Groundworker to join a growing drainage division covering London and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Groundworker or Drainage Civils Engineer with a strong background in drainage excavations, pipework installations, manholes, reinstatement, and remedial works. You'll be joining a busy team delivering high‑quality drainage projects across residential and commercial properties.
The Role
- Carry out drainage excavations, repairs, and new drainage installations
- Install manholes, inspection chambers, gullies, ACO drainage systems, and underground pipework
- Complete drainage remedial works, including replacing damaged drains, pipework, and sewer connections
- Undertake high‑quality reinstatement works, including tarmac, concrete, block paving, paving slabs, and footpaths
- Work alongside Drainage Engineers and Supervisors to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Read site drawings and drainage plans to ensure accurate installation
- Operate small plant and power tools while maintaining a safe working environment
About You
- Strong experience installing ACO drainage systems, manholes, drainage pipework and external sewer stacks
- Experienced in drainage excavations, reinstatement, and safe digging around underground services
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and site procedures
- CSCS, CPCS or NPORS are advantageous
