About the Role

Vector Recruitment Solutions are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for an experienced Gas Engineer to join their reactive maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer seeking consistent core hours, a varied workload, and strong earning potential through enhanced overtime rates.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for carrying out reactive service, repair, and installation work across domestic properties. The role requires strong diagnostic ability, a high standard of workmanship, and a customer-focused approach. You will be expected to respond to call-outs efficiently, identify faults accurately, and complete repairs or installations in line with Gas Safe regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend reactive service and repair jobs in a timely manner
  • Diagnose faults on boilers, heating systems, and gas appliances
  • Carry out repairs and ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently
  • Install gas appliances and heating systems where required
  • Complete servicing and safety checks in line with regulations
  • Ensure full compliance with current Gas Safe standards
  • Complete all job reports, certification, and paperwork accurately
  • Deliver excellent customer service on every job
