We are looking for an experienced and customer‑focused Drainage Engineer to join our growing team in a client‑facing, field‑based role. You’ll attend domestic and commercial properties, diagnose and resolve drainage issues, and represent the business professionally on‑site.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend both emergency and planned drainage jobs
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues using CCTV surveys, high‑pressure water jetting, rods, etc.
- Carry out drain clearance, descaling, root cutting, patch lining, and minor excavations
- Liaise directly with customers to explain issues and solutions
- Identify and recommend additional work where appropriate
- Maintain strict adherence to health and safety procedures
- Contribute to brand reputation with excellent service and technical knowledge
- Take part in an on‑call rota to support 24/7 service delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year’s drainage experience (essential)
- Customer‑facing experience with strong communication skills
- HPWJ certification preferred
- Plumbing knowledge and/or drainage tanker experience (desirable)
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- CSCS card (preferred)
- Comfortable using mobile apps and technology on‑site
What We Offer
- £30,000 – £34,000 per year basic salary plus performance‑based bonuses
- On target earnings £42,000 pa
- All tools, uniform, vehicle, and equipment provided
