Location: Nationwide (Remote/Field Based)

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 pa Depending on experience + Vehicle

Subsistence and Travel:

  • Subsistence: £25/day for meals + £35/night bonus for staying away.
  • Travel: All hotel costs covered; company vehicle provided.

We are seeking an experienced Utility Surveyor for a high-profile client with an established portfolio of nationwide projects, including major airport infrastructure and substation tracing contracts, amongst others.

Opportunity:

This is a 100% field‑based role with minimal office attendance. You will be the technical lead on‑site, managing complex utility, cable tracing and GPR/EML, PAS128 compliant surveys. While the remit is national, the company is focused on minimising travel time and costs for its colleagues.

Technical Essentials:

  • Qualifications: QCF Level 3 (Utility Mapping/Surveying).
  • Experience: Proven track record beyond 2‑year post‑qualification experience; exposure to large‑scale civil infrastructure is highly advantageous. Strong GPR/EML experience and knowledge of PAS128 standards.
  • Flexibility: Comfortable with night work and staying away.
  • Safety: Valid CSCS.
