Water Hygiene Technician Location: Covering the South of England Salary / Pay Rate / Package: Circa Β£40,000 pa depending on experience Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time Are you an experienced Water Hygiene Technician with plumbing experience looking for your next opportunity? Vector Recruitment Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for a dedicated Water Hygiene Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring compliance, safety, and the smooth operation of water systems across a wide range of client sites. You will be covering the South of England, with occasional travel further afield, and will require staying away from home at times. The Role As a Water Hygiene Technician, your duties will include (but are not limited to): Plumbing remedial work and pipework modifications Removal of dead legs and TMV (thermostatic mixing valve) servicing, including fail-safe testing Clean and chlorination of tanks and water systems Calorifier inspections Completing water monitoring logbooks, service reports, and observations via mobile applications Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with Legionella Control (L8) and HSG274 guidelines Requirements Recognised NVQ/C&G plumbing qualification Previous experience in water hygiene remedials, including plumbing modifications and TMV installations Knowledge of Legionella Control (L8) and HSG274 Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to travel and stay away when required Benefits Competitive salary (dependent on experience) 25 days holiday with the option to buy more Enhanced company pension scheme Employee recognition schemes and family-friendly support Benefits and discounts app Access to employee assistance programmes Electric car scheme (where applicable) This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Water Hygiene Technician to secure a long-term role with progression opportunities and an excellent benefits package.
