Vector are recruiting for experienced Drainage Engineers on behalf of our esteemed client, a leading Maintenance Services Provider specialising in providing comprehensive drainage solutions for both domestic and commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Emergency and Reactive Call-Outs: Swiftly respond to emergency and reactive call-outs, addressing drainage issues for a diverse range of clients.
- Advanced Techniques and Tools: Utilise High Pressure Water Jetting, Core Cleaning, De-Scaling and CCTV Surveys equipment to efficiently resolve drainage problems.
- Basic Plumbing: Perform small plumbing works such as removing toilets and urinals, replacing isolation valve or toilet components.
Requirements:
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in the drainage industry resolving internal and external blockages.
- Technical Competence: Experience utilising Electro Mechanical and CCTV equipment as well as performing basic plumbing tasks.
- Driving License: Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
- Punctuality: Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to approach and resolve issues logically.
Working Hours:
- Regular Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
- Night Shifts: 4 nights a month.
- Weekends: 1 weekend a month.
- On-Call Duty: 1 call-out week every 10 weeks.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive Salary: £34,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Overtime Rates: 1/3 additional pay from Monday to Thursday.
- Double-Time Pay: Available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
