Vector Recruitment Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Class 1 Welfare Tanker Driver to join their team in Dartford. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver with tanker or welfare unit handling experience to secure long-term work within a well-established business. Ideally looking for candidates that are able to start in January, interviews to be held before 19th December.
The Role
- Driving and operating a 7.5 tonne / HGV Class 2 vacuum tanker, there will also be a requirement to tow welfare units to and from sites.
- Empty and service welfare units and dispose of waste safely and in line with regulations.
- Deliver, relocate, and collect welfare units across sites efficiently and on schedule.
- Carry out regular cleaning, servicing, and inspections of welfare units.
- Complete all delivery and service paperwork accurately and on time.
- Record any damage, missing items, or issues during inspections.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, cleanliness, and customer service.
About You
- Full UK HGV Class 1 licence with CPC qualification.
- Experience operating tankers or servicing welfare units (desirable).
- Experience towing behind 7.5 tonne or larger rigid vehicles (desirable).
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Flexible approach to early starts (typically Monday to Friday, 04:00-14:00).
Pay and Hours
