Vector are recruiting for an experienced Drainage Site Supervisor on behalf of a fast growing infrastructure business, providing innovative solutions to drainage rehabilitation projects.
The Role: We are seeking a skilled Drainage Site Supervisor to oversee drainage lining projects from start to finish. You will ensure efficient site operations, coordinate teams, uphold quality standards, and maintain strict health & safety compliance. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with industry-leading technologies and advance your career in underground infrastructure rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage drainage rehabilitation projects, ensuring timely and in-budget delivery.
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Conduct risk assessments, site inductions, and toolbox talks to maintain safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and industry regulations.
- Act as the primary contact for clients, engineers, and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate site reports and documentation.
- Oversee quality control and ensure best practices in trenchless technology applications.
Requirements:
- Experience of site supervision within drainage, highways, civil engineering or similar.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Understanding of HSE regulations, risk assessments, NRSWA, Temporary Site Works and Permit-to-Work Systems.
- Ability to read plans and interpret project specifications.
- Experience in trenchless rehabilitation is an advantage, but training is available.
Qualifications:
- SMSTS/SSSTS Certificate (preferred)
- CSCS Card (Gold or Black)
- Confined Space Training (Advantageous)
- Full UK Driving Licence
