Pump Engineer Drainage & Pumping Systems
Location: Luton
Salary: £39,000 £46,800 per annum (DOE) + Overtime
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am 5pm + participation in call-out rota
Vector Recruitment Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Pump Engineer on behalf of a growing Drainage and Water Management Company.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic engineer with experience maintaining foul and surface water pumps, submersible pumping stations, and treatment plants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned maintenance on sewage and surface water pump stations, treatment plants, and booster sets.
- Attend emergency callouts (in-hours and out-of-hours) to diagnose and repair faults quickly and safely.
- Complete repairs and remedial works to a high standard, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service while representing the company on-site.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience working as a Pump Engineer, Field Service Engineer, or Wastewater Engineer on foul and surface water systems.
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Positive attitude, flexible approach, and willingness to work in demanding conditions.
- Full UK driving licence essential.
Pay & Benefits:
- Salary: £39,000 £46,800 per annum (depending on experience)
- Overtime paid at time and a half
- Participation in a 24/7 call-out rota
- Excellent training and career progression opportunities
