Vector is currently seeking Gully/Drainage Operatives to join our client, a fast growing drainage contractor, at their depot near Abingdon in Oxfordshire.
In this role, you will work in tandem with an HGV Driver as part of a two-person team. Your primary responsibility will be operating a vacuum hose and jetting equipment to clear roadside drains, ensuring they remain unblocked. This job is physically demanding due to the frequent lifting of drain covers.
Requirements:
- Previous experience within drainage or highways is desirable but not essential
- Access to personal transportation, as the depot is not easily reachable via public transit
- Streetworks (desirable)
- CSCS (desirable)
- High Pressure Water Jetting (desirable)
- Safety Critical Medical (desirable)
Shift Schedule:
Monday to Friday Day Shift: 6.00am – 4.00pm
Pay Rates:
£31,746 - £35,100 pa depending on experience.
