Job Description: Drainage Operations Manager We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Drainage Operations Manager to join our expanding team on a full-time basis. Position Overview: Job Title: Drainage Operations Manager Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 + Commission OTE: £65,000+ Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage a team of drainage engineers. Conduct performance reviews and manage disciplinary actions. Interviewing new drainage engineers. dealing with technical and large-scale quotations. Provide support to engineers on challenging jobs, occasionally outside normal hours. Conduct site audits to ensure quality and compliance. Attend sites on an ad-hoc basis as required. Assist the operations team with technical queries. Ensure quoted work is completed, assign appropriate engineers, and order necessary parts. Conduct large site visits to provide quotations. client liaison Participate in the out-of-hours call out rota (additional pay) . Competencies: Strong labor management skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of plumbing, excavations, drain laying, drain lining, patching, CCTV surveys, and high-pressure water jetting. Ability to train and mentor other engineers. Good understanding of health and safety regulations. Essential Requirements: Positive attitude and a team player. Proven track record in management within the drainage industry. Strong communication skills across all levels of the business. Self-motivated and capable of managing own workload. Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Excellent references.
