Location: Burgess Hill
Vector Recruitment Solutions are recruiting for Civils Crews or individuals to carry out drainage works, including the release of seized gully covers, repair and replacement of ironwork and gully/access chamber construction. These roles will begin on a temporary contract however have the potential to become permanent.
The Job:
- Use gully cover lifting tools to release seized gully covers.
- Operate abrasive wheel to cut out gully cover if required.
- Carry out repair and replacement of ironworks in the carriageway and footway.
- Build gullies and access chambers.
Requirements:
- Previous drainage civils or highways experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence – either Ganger or Labourer.
- NRSWA (Street Works) Units 2, Signing, Lighting and Guarding (Full streetworks is advantageous) - Ganger only.
- Abrasive wheels - desirable.
- Carriageway and Footway Frame & Cover – desirable.
- SA006 – Working Safely in Civils - desirable.
Hours: Monday to Friday 06:00 – 16:30
