Mechanical Technician – Bedford – Salary £28k - £35k + generous shift allowance (good shift pattern, 6:30 – 14:30 and 14:00 – 22:00 rotating).

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to join an industry leading Bedford-based R&D company. You will join a friendly and supportive team responsible for the inspections, fault-finding, maintenance and repairs of equipment, installation of new equipment, implementation of improvements to the existing plant equipment.
You will be joining a company who are a genuine leader in their field, perform exciting R&D work within a purpose-built facility, have exciting growth plans and are employee-focused, offering excellent support, career development and training.
This role requires candidates to be able to gain UK Security Clearance.
Requirements – Mechanical Technician:
- Recent and relevant experience in installing, maintaining and repairing industrial systems and plant equipment (high pressure compressed air systems, water cooling & treatment systems, lubrication/hydraulic systems, machinery, rotating components, linkages etc.)
- Understanding of quality standards and excellent attention to detail.
Salary: circa £28k - £35k + Shift allowance + benefits.
