Position: Laborer
We are seeking a dedicated Laborer to support our CCTV Sewer Camera operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work and is looking to build a long‑term career in the underground utilities field. The Laborer will assist the Sewer Camera Operator and serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in identifying and locating underground sewer infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Sewer Camera Operators during inspections of underground sewer lines
- Perform physical labor such as digging, lifting, and carrying equipment or materials
- Utilize locating tools to identify and trace sewer and utility lines
- Operate machinery and hand tools safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite
- Follow supervisor directions and safety protocols at all times
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure project success
- Adapt to varied job site conditions and perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A desire to build a career in the construction or underground utility field
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in construction or utility locating is preferred
- Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks and lift 50+ lbs
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screening (including marijuana) and background check
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions and travel to job sites as needed
