I’m looking for a freelance Videographer & Video Editor to support my YouTube channel and product content for Vector 3D, a UK-based maker brand focused on 3D printing, electronics, and hands-on engineering projects. This is not a full-time role. The workload will be on-demand, but I’m specifically looking for someone interested in a long-term working relationship rather than one-off gigs.

What you’ll be doing:

  • In-person filming of YouTube videos in Littlehampton
  • Editing long-form YouTube videos (typically ~10-25 minutes length)
  • Editing in DaVinci Resolve (required)
  • Basic colour correction, audio cleanup, and pacing for YouTube
  • Optional: cutting Shorts from long-form footage (if agreed)

What you won’t be expected to do:

  • No scripting or channel strategy
  • No need to be on camera
  • No requirement to supply equipment (camera, lighting, audio provided — use your own if preferred)

Requirements:

  • Experience filming and editing YouTube content
  • Confident using DaVinci Resolve
  • Comfortable working independently once briefed
  • Able to film in person in Littlehampton
  • UK-based

Nice to have (but not required):

  • Experience with 3D Printing, manufacturing, or technical content
  • Light motion graphics (lower thirds, callouts)
  • Understanding of YouTube pacing and viewer retention

Workload & structure:

  • 1–2 long-form videos per month (~20 minutes each)
  • Filming scheduled as needed (likely half-day or full-day sessions)
  • Editing work scoped per video
  • Open to either per-video pricing or hourly/day rates
  • Potential for a soft retainer for availability once established

Pay:

  • Competitive freelance rates, depending on experience
  • Open to discussion (hourly, day rate, or per-video)
